Road Shows to begin in Eastern Europe with UniCredit
24 February in Sofia, 5 March in Warsaw. Business opportunities available free of charge for those attending the next edition of Macfrut (23-25 September 2015 in Rimini).
Macfrut 3.2 is set to begin with the first two Road Shows in Eastern Europe together with UniCredit. The shows will kick off in two capital cities, on 24 February in Sofia, Bulgaria, and on 5 March in Warsaw, Poland. Twenty places will be available for each international stage and participation will be free of charge for the companies taking part in the next edition of Macfrut International. During these events, to be held at the local headquarters of UniCredit, the Italian companies attending will have the opportunity to meet leading operators in the sector, which are accurately selected by the bank among its customer base. At these meetings, participants will be able to meet each other and showcase their products, and they will then gather in Rimini to explore the commercial potentials highlighted during the Road Shows.
In order to favour the constantly increasing level of internationalisation of MacFrut, UniCredit will actively support the 2015 edition of the trade fair, where international professionals in the fruit and vegetable sector can meet and discuss topical issues. UniCredit will not be involved just as a sponsor: the banking group is a strategic partner of this initiative. In fact, thanks to its international network spread across about 50 markets, with 8,600 branches and more than 148,000 employees, UniCredit has all the right features to support Cesena Fiera in this direction. UniCredit can contribute, in practical terms, to some of the fundamental goals of Macfrut. In particular, thanks to its undisputed leadership in Central and Eastern Europe, UniCredit is currently providing logistic and organisational assistance to actively support the various stages of the Road Shows, starting from Sofia and Warsaw.
“Macfrut 2015 is set to begin as an international business trade fair, together with its most prestigious partner: UniCredit” explains Renzo Piraccini, President of Cesena Fiera. “The Road Shows are a highly attractive opportunity for our exhibitors. We are offering them a unique occasion, where they can present themselves to leading emerging markets and their target audiences. Thanks to the synergy with UniCredit, the local companies of these countries, which will exhibit at Macfrut, will be able to sponsor their participation at particularly convenient rates. Moreover, the Italian companies interested in promoting their activity and business in these countries can rely on the network of the UniCredit International Centers (a selected network of people with an extensive, cross-border business experience), through which customers will be able to find all the products and services, including consultancy, required to promote the internationalisation of the Italian fruit and vegetable supply chain.”
The Road Shows in Sofia and Warsaw are the first stages of a series of events scheduled over the next few months in Eastern European countries.
This internationalisation process will continue as a joint effort, also focusing on Sub-Saharan African countries, with which important relations have been established, also thanks to the collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as with South American countries (especially Brazil). In all this, Macfrut’s aim will be to attract 400 new buyers from all over the world.
