Joint venture between Macfrut (Cesena Fiera) and Fresh Summit (PMA)

On the 13^th of last May a joint venture was created between Macfrut, which will be held in the halls of Cesena Fiera from the 6^th to the 8^th of October, and Fresh Summit, which will take place in Orlando from the 15^th to the 18^th of October and was organized by PMA (Produce Marketing Association).

This strategic cooperation agreement between the two leading shows of the fruit and vegetable sector, the first (Macfrut) in the Mediterranean basin and the second (Fresh Summit) in the American continent, lays the foundations for a fruitful exchange of information and contacts on the main protagonists of the sector, from production to retail.

“This agreement is one more step forward in the process of internationalization of Macfrut”, said Domenico Scarpellini, the President of Cesena Fiera. “Macfrut and PMA have been knowing and esteeming each other for many years, and this agreement creates development opportunities for our partners in an extremely interesting area, the Mediterranean area”, added Nancy Tucker, Vice President of Global Business Development of PMA.
